Reviews
The train station is only a five minute walk to the stadium where sumo matches are held. Large scale paintings/photographs of sumo champions hang on the walls. Also, you can catch sumo wrestlers dressed in a yukata walking back & forth from the stadium.
This station is just beside the sumo wrestling arena.. you get to enjoy the place while you wait for your train/ lots of restaurants in the area.. near hotels and cafe's
Located nearby the sumo ring and edo tokyo museum
Stadium of Sumou is near this station. Also there is the famous temple Elohim.
sumo themed JR station. love the station's character. there are many food stalls beside the station
I've been using this station for more than 10 years but probably it is first time using here on the 1 st day of working day of the year. Never knew such a shodo figure is displayed. This station have been looking like always under construction. Never completed, keep growing up. Not a modern cool station buy retro style looking in west side is very nice especially in evening.
This is the doorway to the Sumo wrestling universe in Tokyo. The Sumo arena is just a few steps away from the JR Ryogoku Station. At the West Exit, there are three large pictures of Sumo wrestlers and hand prints of many famous wrestlers, so you can compare the size of their hands with your own.
Gần bảo tàng Edo-Tokyo.
Link for the Sumo Stadium/Museum and the Edo Museum, but the really interesting thing is the Knor Corn Soup at the vending machine! I found it only here!
What’s exceptionally good about this station is that its coin lockers are generally free(as in not occupied, not FOR no cost) unlike some of the more popular places.
